Tan Wei Ying (“Ms. Tan”) serves as Executive Director, overseeing the iCents Group’s core corporate functions including finance, accounting, procurement, and human resources. With over two decades of experience spanning healthcare, manufacturing, and electronics industries, she brings a well-rounded operational and financial leadership perspective to the organisation.

Ms. Tan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba, Canada, graduating in 1999. She began her career in finance with Pantai Hospital Penang before moving into manufacturing environments, where she built strong foundations in accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Her early career included roles at Hanarum Rubber Tech and BCM Electronics, where she was involved in financial planning, reporting, and governance functions.

She later expanded her expertise into business operations and program management during her tenure with global electronics manufacturers Flextronics Technology (Malaysia) and Celestica Malaysia. At Celestica, she served as Program Manager, leading cross-functional coordination, stakeholder engagement, and resource planning across complex projects — experience that strengthened her leadership capabilities in large-scale operational environments.

In 2018, Ms. Tan transitioned into entrepreneurship and corporate leadership, becoming a founding force behind the Group’s growth. She was appointed Director of Maytech and VC Engineering during their formative years and has remained closely involved in shaping their strategic and financial direction. Since leaving Celestica in 2018, she has taken full charge of the iCents Group’s financial stewardship and administrative governance, ensuring disciplined growth supported by strong internal controls and operational efficiency.
