Foo Siang Leng (“Mr. Foo”) is principally responsible for overseeing the Group’s business operations, including project management, technical functions, as well as production and manufacturing activities.

He obtained his Industrial Technician Certificate in Mechanical & Electrical Drafting & Design from the Institute of Technical Education, Singapore in July 1995.

Upon obtaining his qualification, Mr. Foo began his career with Admiralty Engineering Pte. Ltd., Singapore, in August 1995 as a Project Supervisor. He subsequently joined Sato Kogyo (M) Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia in September 1997 as a Project Supervisor, before moving to Jaya Sarana Engineering Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia in October 1998 as a Project Engineer. Through these roles, he built a strong foundation in project supervision, engineering coordination and construction-related operations.

Leveraging his growing industry experience, Mr. Foo joined Jiangsu IAQ Engineering Co., Ltd., China in January 2003 as a Project Manager in the cleanroom construction sector. In August 2006, he was relocated to Poland as Regional Manager to explore the European market, and in 2007, he was instrumental in establishing IAQ Engineering Poland Sp. z o.o. to expand the business presence in Europe. He left IAQ Engineering Poland Sp. z o.o. in October 2010 to pursue his own entrepreneurial ventures in engineering services.

In November 2010, Mr. Foo co-founded M+F Engineering Sp. z o.o., Poland to provide engineering and construction services for cleanrooms. In February 2012, he further expanded his entrepreneurial activities by incorporating Greentech Engineering Solutions Sdn. Bhd. (“Greentech”) to provide consultancy services for construction and engineering projects, as well as trading of engineering products. Beyond Greentech, he also ventured into other business sectors, including lighting products, engineering and construction, hospitality, food and beverage, and wellness and beauty through various entities.

In March 2014, he co-founded GESC M&E Engineering (Wuxi) Co., Ltd., China, which was principally involved in, among others, M&E engineering design and construction, pipe and equipment installation, and engineering management for cleanrooms. He disposed of his equity interest in GESC M&E Engineering (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. in February 2015.

Mr. Foo was appointed as a Director of VC Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (“VC Engineering”) in February 2016 and became a substantial shareholder of VC Engineering in March 2016 following the acquisition of shares from the Managing Director, Ir. Ts. Ong Mum Fei, and his spouse, Khor Fei Yi @ Shi Fei Yi. In June 2018, he resigned as Director of VC Engineering to focus on his business interests in Greentech. He rejoined the Group in March 2020 as General Manager, where he was responsible for overseeing business operations. In December 2023, he became a substantial shareholder of Maytech Cleanroom Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. (“Maytech”) following a share transfer from his spouse, Tan Wei Ying, and was subsequently appointed as a Director of Maytech in June 2024.

Mr. Foo brings with him extensive regional and international experience in cleanroom engineering, operational leadership and business building, which continue to contribute significantly to the Group’s operational strength and execution capabilities.
