Ir. Ts. Ong Mum Fei is primarily responsible for leading the Group’s overall business growth, strategic direction, long-term planning and business development initiatives.

He obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Air Conditioning and Refrigeration) from Politeknik Ungku Omar in 1999 and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia in 2005. He is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia, a Professional Technologist registered with the Malaysia Board of Technologists, and an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer.

Ir. Ts. Ong has approximately 20 years of experience in the cleanroom industry, with extensive expertise in the engineering, design and management of high-technology facility projects. He began his career with Polycool HTE Engineering Sdn. Bhd. and subsequently held various engineering and managerial roles with Airgate (M) Sdn. Bhd., APP Engineering Pte. Ltd. and IAQ Technology International Sdn. Bhd. Throughout his career, he has been involved in projects across Malaysia as well as international markets including Poland, France and China, giving him broad exposure to complex industrial and cleanroom environments.

In 2015, he founded VC Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (“VC Engineering”) and has since been the key driving force behind the Group’s growth and development. Under his leadership, the Group has expanded its market presence and successfully secured projects from both local and multinational corporations across a diverse range of sectors, including semiconductor, electronics, data centres, pharmaceutical, life sciences, biotechnology, palm oil processing, food and beverage manufacturing, and automotive.

Ir. Ts. Ong’s industry knowledge, technical credentials and strategic leadership have been instrumental in establishing the Group’s capabilities and positioning it for continued growth.
